IDS Project Annual Conference for 2017
(July 26 through July 28)
The IDS Project's 13th Annual Summer Conference is Thursday, July 27th and Friday, July 28th at the
SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica, NY. This year's conference theme is
Steering the Future, Together and approximately 200 attendees are expected.
This year's conference is packed with information and training regarding exciting new technologies and strategies for information access, resource sharing and acquisitions/collection development. Session tracks include ILL/DD, Technology, and Collection Development. You can choose to follow an entire track or choose individual sessions from across each track. All library professionals are encouraged to attend regardless of affiliation with IDS Project.

Conference Overview
Two-Day Conference Registration:
Registration Fee: $175
Keynote Speaker: Peter Bae
Peter Bae is currently working at the Princeton University Library as Circulation Services Director. He is a member of the ALA RUSA STARS Executive Committee and the International ILL Committee. He also serves as Information Coordinator of the IFLA Document Delivery and Resource Sharing Section Standing Committee. Before Princeton, he worked as an ILL librarian at the University at Albany, and Columbia University Libraries. He is interested in the issues regarding International Interlibrary Loan and Resource Sharing.

All-Region User Group Meeting
The All-Region User Group session is free for all IDS Project members. More information on registering for the All-Region User Group will be available soon.
Local Excursion
We'll be taking a field trip after the Regional User Group meeting to take a tour of the local Saranac Brewery! All are welcome to join! Please sign up for this event when you register for the conference. Transportation is on your own, carpool wherever possible. We will have a carpool sign up when you check-in for the conference.
